SCHEDULE FRANK'S FATHER TO SPEAK

BY SHARING THE FRANKIE WOOLWINE STORY, ROY HOPES THAT KIDS STOP AND TAKE A SECOND TO “THINK” SO THAT NO OTHER PARENT EVER HAS TO GO THROUGH WHAT HE DID.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT THE PRESENTATION:

“The fact that you had the student’s attention truly emphasizes the sincerity with which it was presented and how powerfully it was received.

I had a large number of students from all grade levels say they were very moved by Frank’s story and that they’ve already looked it up on the computer to read more about it.”

    - Penny Stevens – Godwin High School, VA

“Roy, I actually had a senior who was a sophomore when you came before and asked me if you could come back. I think you really had a positive impact on them.”

-Bryan Greene – Dean of Students – Benedictine College Prep

“Roy, your talk to our Upper School boys made such a positive impact, and we are very grateful to have had you here with us. Many boys name your talk as the reason they or their friends have made safer choices.”

-Kim Hudson – Associate Head of Upper School – St. Christopher’s School

“Listening to Frank’s Father tell the story really had an impact on me.  It made me think about how everything can change in just a second, with one bad decision. Now, every time I go out with my friends, I think about that story. It really stuck with me.”

-Trip Fishburne - Freeman High School, VA

“Roy brings needed awareness to students to think for just one second before they make a life changing decision to get behind the wheel. When he came to speak at my high school, he really brought to our attention the consequences of driving intoxicated by sharing Frank’s impactful story.”

    – May May Henry - Waccamaw High School, SC

“Roy’s message was direct and straight to the point at all the schools he visited. He absolutely connected with the students. Roy’s discussion about choices is so relevant and spot-on for these students during such intense high school events-school starting, homecoming, proms and graduation.

I truly believe that Roy telling Frankie’s story is one that will forever stay with these students. They saw a father, a brother, entire families and communities affected by this tragic event. And that choices matter. Every. Single. Time.”

    – Melinda Fitzgerald Anderson - Alexandria, LA

ABOUT THE PRESENTATION

The entire program is approximately 30 minutes. Roy’s speech will run for about 20 minutes and then we offer Q&A time for students. We have many ways that students can get involved so we do have an area set up after the speech for them to gather information on the organization.
